Chiefs Aquire Goaltender From Sicamous
The Chiefs are happy to announce the acquisition of the playing rights to goaltender Riley Wall. A native of Kamloops, Riley played last season with the now division rival Sicamous Eagles. Entering his 19-year-old season, Riley will bring leadership and experience in net for the Chiefs.
Head coach and general manager Tyler Boldt is very excited about the newest member of the team. “Having a veteran presence in net is something the hockey club saw as a priority going into this coming season. I am expecting Riley to bring a calming veteran presence to our crease while playing at a high level. He gives us a consistent talent from day one of the coming season, and most importantly he is very excited about playing in Chase.”
While playing for the Chiefs Riley will be attending Thompson Rivers University. Last season with the Eagles he posted a 15-14 record with a 3.59 G.A.A. and an 89% save percentage.

The Chase Chiefs Hockey Club is proud to announce that the Village will be hosting the annual All-Star game and Top Prospects Game. Team president Fred Pittendreigh couldn’t be happier about getting the opportunity to host this annual event. “Our fans and volunteers were so supportive and hard working last year, and I look forward to working with them in the coming season to make this All-Star weekend a memorable one.”
